Washington Post: Virginia appeals court strikes down effort to purge suspected noncitizen voters
Michael Brice-Saddler reports that on Sunday, the Fourth Circuit “upheld the ruling of a Virginia judge who struck down an effort from state officials to automatically cancel voter registrations of suspected noncitizens, pointing to a federal law that prohibits states from purging voters 90 days before a presidential election.”

Vox: Why it’ll be even harder for Trump to steal the election this time
Ian Millhiser gives us three reasons why it would be harder for Donald Trump to steal the election this year, one of which is that Congress has since clarified the election law that Trump’s lawyers tried to use as legal justification in 2020.
